I just got back from visiting family up north where it rained every day. I got back home just in time for it to rain every day here. In desperation I decided to paint sunny skies.

I hope wherever you are, there are sunny skies above.

            Happy Weekend!

I’ve been thinking about transitions lately. In a sad transition, this week we lost a beloved former chaplain at the college where I work.           there are other eyes watching him coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, 'Here he comes!'

In the center of the beautiful city of Edinburgh is an amazing place called Holyrood Park. Within this park is a peak of 822 feet called “Arthur’s Seat”. Hiking to the top of this hill, you can see wonderful views of the city and the surrounding areas. The park is filled with these soft green hills with their contrasting craggy rocks, and tucked within some of the tall grasses like a hidden oasis, was this tiny pond.
