We were so lucky to find an amazing hotel (The Torridon) in
the northern highlands of Scotland with incredible views of mountains and
water. I was struggling with trying to capture the beautiful mountains behind
this tree but my attention kept wandering back to the sun starting to
increasingly set this tree ablaze with light. I finally decided to do a quick
painting of this gorgeous tree that just glowed as the sun went down.
