know about you but with all of the bad news I keep hearing sometimes I just
need to imagine being someplace like this…to catch my breath, and remember what
peace and tranquility feel like.

Mattole Beach
 |
We were in
northern California, winding our way through redwoods, golden, grassy hills sprinkled
with cattle, and then back down to the water somehow. We discovered this interesting
beach where the winds were cold, the sand was dark and littered with driftwood,
and the water was a beautiful, emerald green. I love how the natural world consistently
amazes me!
